About Mrs. Gillentine

I was born in Meridian, Idaho at the Mountain Home Air Force Base. My father was in the military which meant we moved frequently during my childhood. I have lived in 6 different states, but finally moved to Arkansas when I was in the 6th grade. By moving and changing schools often, I was able to see a variety of schools, cities, and meet diverse groups of people. It is because of my childhood I was inspired to become a secondary social studies teacher. I'm married and we recently had our first child, a sweet baby boy. I am very excited for this new school year at Jonesboro High School!
